As if we needed another example of how the establishment news-like media outlets are nothing more than pawns of the federal government, not one of them is referring to the terrorist attack in New Orleans as a terrorist attack.
Perhaps doing so would remind people that we have a country-sized bureaucracy called The Department of Homeland Security that spends $60B a year, or that we have waged something called a War on Terror for 23 years at a cost of 21 trillion dollars, neither of which prevented this occurence. Not to mention things like a no-fly list, terrorist watch list, secret FISA courts, NSA monitoring of all internet traffic, and all of the other secret police activities that would make Stalin blush.
Perhaps calling it a terror attack might spur the people to hold the government accountable for its waste, fraud, abuse, and complete ineptitude.
